About Department

The educational process at the Department of Theory and Practice of Management is organized taking into account the possibilities of modern information technology education and focuses on the formation of an educated, harmoniously developed personality capable of continuous updating of scientific knowledge, professional mobility and rapid adaptation to changes and development in the socio-cultural sphere, technology , management systems and labor organization in a market economy. The educational process at the department is based on the observance of the current legislative and normative acts in the field of higher education.

The Department of Theory and Practice of Management constantly conducts scientific and methodological seminars in order to improve the educational process and its methodological support. Particular attention is paid to the issue of activation of independent cognitive activity of students using innovative and traditional methods of teaching. The staff of the Department of Theory and Practice of Management constantly develops teaching and methodological aids for the purpose of methodical provision of the basic disciplines from the cycle of professional and practical training.

The scientific interests of the teaching staff of the department are represented by a wide range of topical areas of research related to the mechanisms of public administration, public administration and public administration. Teachers of the Department of Theory and Practice of Management carry out research work within the framework of two initiative themes: “Social engineering as a factor of sustainable development of society” and “Influence of e-government on social transformations”.

International activities take place through participation in the organization and holding of international seminars and conferences, roundtables and press clubs, the organization of and research projects and research projects, the development of international relations with scientists from different countries, etc. The international partners of the Department of Theory and Practice of Management are Masaryk University (Czech Republic) and Kazimieras Simonavichus University (Lithuania), etc.

The department renders work with institutions of secondary education with the purpose of vocational guidance of schoolchildren. We highly value every entrant and want to communicate with both schoolchildren and teachers. We do this not only because of the desire to inform our faculty and faculty, but also in order to better understand what the modern high school students are interested in and what they are looking for. In addition, we are always glad to answer any questions regarding our specialty and the department.

The practical implementation of the curriculum involves undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in specialty 281 Public administration and administration of production and research practice, which promotes the acquisition of not only theoretical and practical skills in organizations, but also research. Our masters students practice in such institutions as organizations: National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service; Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Kyiv City State Administration; District state administrations; Pension Fund of Ukraine; Main Department of Statistics of Kyiv; Scientific Research Center for Applied Sociology “Socioplus”; National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine; Banking institutions; Insurance companies. In addition to government institutions, students are practicing in private companies.
